It's a Saturday afternoon in autumn. The mower is finally back in the shed, someone has the tongs going, and the kids are somewhere down the back paddock. Hardwood posts, besser block, cladding and steel all take a bracket differently, so we work out the fixing on the day rather than guessing beforehand.

A quick word on weather: we mount the TV, we don't waterproof it. Outdoor-rated screens and enclosures exist for a reason, and if your set is a standard indoor panel we will tell you honestly where it is and isn't likely to survive. Where a tilting or full-motion bracket helps you angle away from glare or tuck the screen back against the wall between weekends, we will suggest it.

Inside the house

Most jobs still start in the lounge room, and the same care applies. We check stud positions or the brick behind the plaster, set the height for the seat you actually sit in, and tidy the cabling so there is nothing dangling down the wall.
